Bolton Arena were experiencing some problems with their corporate identity as people were unaware of whether it was a leisure centre, fitness suite or local amenity, They wanted to position the Arena as a top quality sports arena that would suit all members of the public.
With its public/private sector funding it was important not to be seen as an elitist facility but one which offered top quality facilities and coaching accessible to all.
Manchester Airport-North West Arts Sponsorship Campaign
‘Arts in the Northwest’ is the largest business sponsor of the Arts in the Northwest and one of the top ten nationally. They required a campaign, which enhanced the cultural product and standing of the region and communicated Manchester Airport’s sponsorship of the Arts.
We developed a strong style to reflect the Manchester Airport Group’s branding guidelines and which communicated the colour and passion of the Arts. We used images taken from different areas of the Arts and styled them as paper aeroplanes to suggest ‘flight’. The versatile style was then carried through a wide range of material including banners, media advertising and promotional literature.
