Niace and BBC Partnership
The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) and the BBC in the North West developed a project to widen participation in adult learning through storytelling. The project aimed to inspire people from many different backgrounds to take up learning, using the medium of storytelling as a starting point.
We worked with the partnership to produce a guide to good storytelling, which was visually appealing and encouraged individuals to pick it up and read it. Taking in to account the readership the guide needed to be very user friendly and easy to read without appearing childish or patronising.
